Itinerant sales engineer

Your role
As an intinerant sales engineer, you will be in charge of developing business in your region by promoting our fumes extraction solutions to distributors, major accounts, and end-users. You will be the driving force behind our growth in your sector, by ensuring rigorous check-ups of the projects are conducted, from client prospecting to the conclusion of sales, and making sure client satisfaction remains high.
Your main missions
Business development
- Developing and strengthening loyalty amongst your region’s specialized distribution network.
- Finding new clients and providing them with expert technical advice on our fumes extraction solutions.
- Performing equipment demonstrations on client sites to ensure their understanding of the products.
Business projects management
- ◦ Collaborating with the back-office to draw up quotations and technical evaluations.
- Keeping track of sales projects until users are trained to use the products.
- Attending reunions with inspection bodies and risk prevention organizations.
Strategy and reporting
- Elaborating innovative sales strategies to meet regional sales targets.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty by building a trusting relationship with them.
- Deliver regular performance and sales reports for your region.
What we seek
Education and skills
- Business or technical background (minimum of 2 years of studies after graduation).
- Successful experience in business development, ideally relating to industry or technical systems.
- Familiarity with the fields of weldling or industrial ventilation is appreciated.
- The position is based in France and requires proficiency in French (spoken and written)..
Personal qualities
- Autonomous, organized, and rigorous in the handling of priority tasks.
- Ability to work itinerantly and to handle a schedule which combines on-site presence and administrative tasks.
- Good interpersonal and client service skills.
