ERGOMATE Extraction mast: the innovative solution for welding training

As part of its commitment to protecting welders from hazardous welding fumes, ENGMAR has developed a new product designed for training centers: the ERGOMATE suction mast. This extraction system combines a welding table with efficient fume capture, ensuring a safe learning environment for apprentice welders.

The ERGOMATE mast stands out thanks to its smart design: a robust welding table combined with an integrated extraction system. Compact and modular, this solution optimizes airflow performance while ensuring maximum protection for welders.

Unlike traditional extraction hoods, the ERGOMATE mast captures fumes in the opposite direction of the operator’s breathing zone, keeping the field of vision clear and ensuring highly efficient pollutant capture.

Easy to adjust and use, the Extraction mast adapts to welders and all working positions thanks to its modular design. The panel is mounted on the mast and can be moved vertically to suit the user’s height or to the desired working position.

An integrated pulley system at the top of the mast, combined with a counterweight, ensures smooth movement of the back panel and allows effortless adjustment.

The unit is also equipped with a modular, removable clamp, ideal for securely holding workpieces.

The extraction system is efficient over the entire welding surface of the table and complies with recommended minimum capture velocity of 0.5 m/s.

Fine dust and welding fumes are captured into the extraction network and discharged outdoors by a motorized fan and, through the back panel.
